Had fun putting this one together. Looked for but couldn't find an .obj file of a cougar/mountain lion in a lying down pose that might have made this image a bit more interesting.
The boulders are marvelous. Could you post work an image of a cougar into the scene? Maybe a billboard plane with an alpha channel around the cougar itself?
Really nice Bob. I think your TG2 work has not only caught up to but, surpassed your TG classic works. This is very close to realism! With wonderful landscapes like this...a cougar isn't necessary IMHO....now a couple of planets or moons...:)

Thanks Henry, I thought of your suggestion; but an image alone wouldn't work too well. I sometimes get that purist attitude where I try to avoid using a photo imaging program to touch up a TG image. Hopefully, somebody will steer me to a good model.

Hey Mark, thanks for stopping by. Now, I'd like to see you convert this one into a space scene with a twilight background; different POV; some alien plants; and, maybe a planet or two
Very nice scene, choronr. Great rock structure and lighting. A couple of pronghorns or mountain sheep in a not too eye catching spot may do the trick. Just that you notice them as you look longer. There should be free models out there that are decent enough for the distance.

Thanks Ulco, I'm planning on a sequel and will be looking for some fauna mountain dwellers along the way, trying to make them a subtle addition.
Very nice looking scene. The boulders are great looking and fit the scene well.
as everybody sqid, nice boulders ^^
and very different from your usual renders. good job
