One of my daughters brought this photo back on her phone from a trip to Pitlochry at the weekend.

I liked it so I thought I'd try and TG it. It's clearly not a perfect match but it's close enough for me for a session's fiddling.
Cheers for looking! :)
!!!!
well done !!!

Totally agree !!!
I really like the leaf colouring you've used here especially on the right hand tree. The one on the left the reflectivity really shows in the flat leaf planes which is unfortunate.
Aye, both near trees use the same shaders but the angle of the light on the left one was a bit unfortunate, indeed.
Them's the breaks, when you use Vue trees in TG, though! :D ;)
The bank-side trees and the two nearer single ones are the 'springtime ash with Ivy' trees that I shared some time ago(find them here (http://www.terragen.org/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item562)). These are the version without the ivy. I just edited the colour map externally before applying it to the nearer ones to get that yellow look.
Cheers, folks. :)
Beautiful! I totally agree that this is one of your best images.
I looked at it and thought that was the photo. 'Hmm, I wonder how he'll recreate that...' and then I realized it was a render.
Congratulations!
It does look like a photo. It is really great work!
beautyyyyyfulll
sometimes to much specular but one on the best tg2 render. I like a lot the right tree leafs translucense.
congrats
Excellent recreation. And the sun shines more resplendent with T2.
John
it's swimmin' time! ;D
this is pretty photorealistic martin, i my self was thinking it was a photo too, debating with myself.
well done, and very good :)
very nice, I like colors and mood a lot!
Thanks, everyone, glad you liked it! :)
Thats Amazing!! :o
If God created the Heavens and the Earth in 7 days, then DandelO created them in just a few hours!
Your a cool and very gifted artist! Wonderful artworks and experiments your doing with TG2.
Many congratulations!
Cheers

Cheers, Max. Only an hour and 45 for this one, actually.
A better rig and it would have been done in minutes. I only have a little dual core machine to work with for now. :)
