Redone on my new i5 at higher 45hours render detail=1 AA=3 1920x1080

Personally I like to see clouds a little more "puffy" looking without so much details, but these
look very impressive. Good job!

Great to see you back after so long!
I remember this image. Nice that you redid the render on your new system.
How much faster is it now?

I wonder how fast it would be if you set:

Detail 0.75
GI the same as is now
AA4
Raytrace atmosphere enabled

Atmo samples 12
Cloud samples equivalent to ~0.7 detail. (how many cloud samples do you have now and what's the detail equivalance?)

p4 took 74hours or so to do the 800x600.

Ah ok, thanks.

I'm curious how fast it is with the settings I recommended.
I bet at least 50% ;)

where do I see cloud samples + I had it only running on 3 cores so i could still play around on the pc using the 4th. anyway here is the file
