Hi Guys,
Just thought I'd drop in to advertise a bit more terragen work on tv.
We've just completed Egypt's Lost Cities for the BBC, which included a fair bit of Terragen work.
Working to a punishing schedule, we completed around 50 shots in around 6 weeks with a team of 4 3d artists and 3 compositors.
I believe it will also be shown on Discovery pretty soon.
I'm off for a sleep now (for a month!)
Chris
Hi Chris
Looking forward to that for sure:)
50 shots in 6 weeks, thats seriously hard work!
Well done, I'm kinda getting an idea how demanding this work can be.
Enjoy your sleep, you've earned it! ;)
Richard
Stunning! Just watched it and was as blown away by the effects as the first time I saw 'Explosive Archaeology (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElgoN2p32so)'.
Fantastic work, man!
Cheers Dandel0, glad you enjoyed it.
Hi Richard, hope 422 are treating you well.
Hope to catch up with you guys soon, now this show is over.
Chris
Congrats on finishing this Chris!
I'll see if I can find a way to watch it, am very curious!
Yeah catch up with us, you probably have some nice things under your sleeves :)
Cheers,
Martin

"not available in your area"
UK only indeed...well, there might be other ways...
Someone seems to have added it to Youtube but it's just a video capture from the BBC iPlayer so the quality isn't the best. Not too bad though.

Killer effects
Awesome! To see all the cities appear seemingly out of nowhere on the screen was amazing. Great programme Chris , I really enjoyed it. ;)
The Terragen 2 work was inspiring. Good show. The YouTube capture was not the best quality. I'll watch it again when/if Discovery Channel posts it.
