Title: UDK and TG2 - A Good Match
Post by: rcallicotte on June 08, 2011, 10:41:10 PM
http://store.cgsociety.org/product/000758/  I wouldn't have put UDK at the top of my list for terrain making.  But, is there some way someone here can think of a way to match TG2 with UDK to pair up some fantastic future game imagery?  Just asking...

Funny, coincidentially (??) I was approached yesterday by a mod-group to make skyboxes for an UDK-based mod/game.

TU, are you going for it?  I was just surprised and would like to see this pairing eventually turn into some "how-to" manuals with a following.  But, maybe I'm missing something critical.  It's possible this is harder than it might seem.  Otherwise, it seems like a good platform for TG2 artists to get into some sort of 3D work.

Not sure yet, as it is not "work" but voluntary as it seems so far. It's probably fun to do, but also costs a lot of time, especially if you want to do it "right".
That means with GI and we all know the culprits.
I'm not sure if I can combine it with the other things I have going at the moment. I'll think about it more.
