I've noticed that some of your images on flickr seem to be very blurry, as if they have very heavy JPEG compression, or noise reduction perhaps. I wonder if this is by choice or if you have higher quality versions you could upload? It seems like the high resolution of 1920 x 900 doesn't match the amount of detail in the image.

Flickr alters the image compression. I uploaded the bitmap version.
I also did some noise reduction using Corel Paint X2. Some other image processing was used to brighten up the image, mostly for highlights.
I'll upload and link this from Deviant.
I would guess the noise reduction is responsible in this case. Some noise reduction algorithms can be very damaging to detail.

I just clicked on the Flickr link. What the F! It does not look like this one my monitor.
If they are compressing your BMPs on their server (which is not surprising since the BMP would be unnecessarily large), then it might be best to do the JPG compression yourself and upload the JPG. They probably won't recompress it if it is under a certain size.
