Looks pretty nice, though is this at actual scale or are things exaggerated? I like the asteroid belt/ring in the 2nd shot.

The HD render is scarey to me. The size of those craters! It's like Dr. Evil will rain red hot magma down on the Earth!

Great looking renders.

Yeah the displacements are a bit exaggerated and the color is just displacement turned into grayscale map. I added some slight procedural detail but it doesnt really stand out yet.. Will see if I have more time to continue this little project later

Nice renders , Freelancah!
I like the second one too.
The displacements does look a little too much , but it brings a different feeling.
Not sure if i would lower or not :)

Did you see this?

Thanks Kadri. That erosion looks pretty out of place on an asteroid, awesome :D

Here's a few renders more. Added some closeups with enhanced procedural detail..

Do you have lunar terrains that you can spare? I had to cancel my Lunar series because my terrains didn't have craters. btw. great lunar images.

Here's a 4k albedo surface map (except for the poles) which might be of help:

Thanks JimB. I dont remember where I got all of the maps I have, but I do have 16k color, displacement and 128 dem map.. and some modified maps of my own. I just wanted to use the dem as base on to build upon.

Violoncello if you have an address that accepts a package of 84.2 mb, then I can send it to you. You can PM me if you have an address that I can send them to
