I've been experimenting with terrain.  Thanks to ProjectX for the Canyon Exercise.

I dont know about you but I think the scale is bit off...and the dog is in air

little more detail in canyon and you are all set

Thanks for responding.  It's a horse  ;D and there is someone actually riding it.  But, you're right about the scale.  If I didn't change it to 3X, no one would notice there was anything there, I guess.  Any suggestions for detail?  I'm using a strata and fake rocks along with a few power fractals.  I'm listening.

the middle actually doesn't need a lot of changing. Being a flat, canyon rock surface, it looks cool ;)

Though u could add a little 'dust' in ;)

Thanks everyone.  The object (horse and rider) need to be placed differently.  I might try this again.

Mm maybe you could have a zoom in on the horse, and get the camera behind the person, so it looks like an 'overhang'.

To suit your 'title', if zoomed in and the person is in the foreground, could be a very good POV ;)
