An interactive panorama made from my 'Depth Charge' animation scene.
It needs some more species and some plant life, I think. I might revisit it later.

Thanks for looking! :)
Cool! ;D
The underwater scene really was a good experiment!
Cheers,
Frank
Absolutely wow! Great panorama all over! The only thing I am missing is some underwater plants, but would be just a small improvement! Really great!
This is a fine example that you never know what is under your boat. :)
Very good work on the water caustics.
Nice Martin. It's kind of exciting to look around... and then suddenly there's a shark lurking in the murk. If you revisit this; there's some strange gray areas on the rocks, and I would give them more displacement, a lot... like 'growth'.
This is a great render but, those ground textures... they're so, blurry.
Marvelous creativity Martin; feels like I'm swimming around there.
Really good work man. 8)
love the boat :-)
did you try this: http://www.ryubin.com/panolab/panoflash/
and/or my TG2-batch for the panoramas which uses Nona(part of Hugin) to stitch the views seamlessly
Changed a few things. Fixed the stones, moved and slightly raised the camera to get a better look into the trench and to see some nice surface lighting beneath the sun on the seabed. Put some plants in and removed the floating detritus.

Cheers! :)
This is so nice! A beautiful piece of creativity Martin. When I first saw the fish over the trench, because of it's attitude, my mind said: 'what is a bird doing here?' (it reminded me of a bird clinging on the trunk of an invisible tree). So much for mind tricks. In all, this is one of your best works.
V2 is really nice.Good improvements,definitely worth a look.
Thank you, folks! :)
I enabled soft shadows and updated this a few minutes ago, too.
The fish shadows were very hard considering how far away some of them were from their shadows.
I love the light-playing across the terrain beneath the Sun, when turning from the dark side towards the light it looks really good when the bright areas come into view, I think it does, at least.
The 'caustics' hitting the ground are from the actual rays this time, not from my old method of making procedural caustics as a surface layer, these ones actually cast from the light rays perfectly.
Cheers!
Done.
This is beautiful looking! So many things look around and the boat is great, gives real feeling of depth. This is very close to view of diving in that kind of environment.
Thanks, Mor. You can see the shark's-eye view here, by the way... http://vimeo.com/23990861
boat must be making more water ripple seems like hovering and not reacting with water in picture.
Thanks, TheOne.
How would you suggest that I make the interaction better between boat and any water you can find in my image?
meaning water surface. add ripples around boat with displace will work as example
There is no water, or water surface in the scene.
can be added to look good
Tell me how to do it with TG2. I don't know, sorry.
is ok, try your best and find something, or ask someone that can do better. I just start and not find all can be done with. don't give up

OK, I'll keep on pushing! Thanks. :)
Extraterrestrials are interesting.
I like this panorama , Martin!
This strange conversation or whatever it is ;D gave me the opportunity to post here DandelO !
apology to you
I not say I like fish you make but I do maybe just have one or to pointing down like it eat from bottom be good thing.
I not know what are black dots bubbles maybe? if yes maybe make more clear like a water shader and no shadows. I not sure if work but if does is good
Hi, TheOne. Thank you for your input. I think it just seemed quite rude to be posting so many negative criticisms without saying any nice things to anyone about their images really.
The black dots were supposed to just be bits of floating detritus and junk but they were quite distracting so they are not in the second version that I posted. :)
