Title: Multiple save formats per frame
Post by: TheBadger on September 15, 2011, 04:03:57 AM
Hello

I would like to know how to tell TG2 to save two file types for each frame in an animation sequence. .bmp and .exr for every frame each with-in its own folder. Should be simple yes?

this type of thing is best done with a format converter...there are a ton of free ones out there...

How can a .bmp be converted to a .exr? And the question was can I save two versions from an animation, the way I can from a still.

render to exr then convert to bmp etc
not sure what you mean by the second part.

Yes, use XnView, or similar batch processing program, to convert your .exr to .bmp.

* Be aware that: The 'effects' tab in the render node will have no effect if you save as .exr.
Contrast settings and the soft-clip options do not work if you save as an hdr format.

This will be possible in a future update.
