just made some changes in a project getting afterwards the above error message even in 3D preview window.
So probably not caused by lack of memory...
Any idea what the reason is for that?
tgd attached (ter file isn't: 8MB...)
Found it by myself 8), a stupid error :D, but errors found looking always stupid, don't they?
have a nice weekend
Glad you were able to resolve it.

I'm getting the same error. Can you share your solution?
This is usually memory related. Do you have a large cache size specified and/or "preallocate cache" enabled? How much memory do you have and what operating system are you using?

I am used to work with the node network only. However, in bigger projects there is a good chance that an invalid connection between nodes will be made. That was the reason in the case mentioned above (I have used an input node, but the correct way was the children input).
Correcting the node network was all to be done.
Sorry, but this is a very project related issue and no "generic solution"...
