Title: Making a Wave-cut notch
Post by: John-117 on September 29, 2011, 04:48:37 PM
Basically my question is how would I go about making a wave-cut notch?  Are there any threads/tutorials that I could look at?  It is probably pretty simple but I have not used Terragen 2 in over year so my memory is a little fuzzy.  What I am trying to do is have a cliff island with wave-cut notch at the base.

I think FrankB posted a neat solution that might be useful.

Also if you know the height of the bottom and top of your Wave-cut notch you could use a surface layer with a negative lateral displacement limited by the layers height controls. You'llrbaby need a "Compute Terrain" node just before the surface layer.
