Title: test
Post by: TheBadger on October 22, 2011, 08:38:17 PM
Testing a new (new to me) method. Lots of potential in this method, lots of draw backs too. But Im only at the beginning stages of understanding so we will see.

I like both versions, as said the use of populations is excellent.  With selective filtering of the colour channels you have a lot of control over the mood when converting to black and white, experiment.

I think the grass is a render camera projected image map, but it gives a nice effect.

The moon seems a bit odd. But exploration has proven that moons are odd. Looks great. A wide angle shot would be good here also.

It looks like the moon is showing distortion because it is near the edge of an already wide angle frame.

I like the first render , TheBadger.
It looks a little unfinished to me. Maybe only a little sharper render with better detail would be enough.
