Largely responsible for the nice shape of the canyon's displacements and appearance are two files: namely, FrankB's 'Wavy Terraces Surface Layer' file and dandelO's '10m Cracks' file; both of which transform the 'strata and outcrops' rather well. Also, dandelO's PGS -Evolution file for procedural grass was used as a green base for which many of the vegetation models would appear. Files available at the Planetside Forum.
Finally, three populations of model bushes were used. two of which were created by Walli (#7 AND #8). The third is a leafless bush - sorry, I do not remember the creator. Our symbol of freedom and strength - The Bald Eagle - model; thanks to Mark. Walli's Dry Shrubs available at NWDA.
This will be enough of canyons for awhile ...on to another, different project.
Nice, very nice.
I like this one very much, Bob. Superb rocks and light.
Nice image Bob :)
where is the cowboy ?
nice render
Great, again, Bob! I especially like the under saturated vegetation, looks very soft and real. Nicely done!
I can only agree with everyone so far! :)
really awesome work Bob!
the light and surfacing along with vegetation etc are perfect!
Really great! But maybe a condor or a golden eagle, perhaps a vulture of some kind.

Thanks to you all. The birdie is a Bald Eagle, many of which are rising out of extinction.
Graet image - where's the rabbit!
Very pretty Bob. You've got these scenes nailed - you should put together a Southwest Landscapes book with all the renders you've done.

Thanks Ryan, funny you should mention a book of scenes, my Son Kenny is a professional photographer and uses Mac. This Father's Day he put together a book of a number of my images ...what a surprise. Apple stores can create these books of one's images in three different sizes ...very nice stuff. Some years back, he put together a DVD with many of my Terragen Classic images including some appropriate Indian flute music - quite effective.
