Title: Sunset/sunrise TG2 animation
Post by: Redwolf on November 28, 2011, 05:41:27 AM
Render time was 40 minutes on 100 frames, res 640*480 @ 0.5 quality. Atmo and cloud samples were adjusted.
It was first started to test out the scotspine I modelled yesterday morning, and as I knew I wasnt going to be using the pc for a bout an hour, i decided to do an animation
the frames compiled with virtualdub and then exported to sony vegas 11, where I copied the clip and pasted it then reversed it.

the more I get into this, the more confident I will be to render fuller quality and fuller images, objects etc

Nice animation. I think the tree needs more transluceny on the leaves and it would be good to get some vegetation on the ground (and a more interesting terrain). Keep going!

loads of translucency on the needles, its just dense ...I will have to trim the tree, it was originally a test render of that model

the music comes from game i got....i forgot where i got it from
