Title: UCLogMessage.txt
Post by: helentr on April 18, 2007, 01:12:16 AM
What is this file, UCLogMessage.txt that seems to appear among my TGDs occasionally. It seems to contain a TGC inside, that I didn't save. Is it crash data, auto-save or what?

It's where TG2 writes log messages, usually just debugging type messages and such. On the Mac such messages get written to the console, but Windows doesn't have a similar facility so it writes them to that file. It's called UCLogMessage.txt because the file is actually written by the underpinnings of the application, which is called UnderCarriage or UC for short. The final version won't create this file. You can safely ignore it, or even throw it away.

Regards,

Jo
