Hello

I started by reading the Create Your First Scene PDF, but soon became sidetracked into creating my own scene.
The images below are the result.

I can't believe the water in the first one!

Second image is the same scene, same camera position, but with the sun behind the camera and to the left instead of in front of the camera and to the right, just out view. Now that's something you can't do with a DSLR!

Any comments greatly appreciated.

I like both of your renders. The sun shining off the water is a good effect.
