That's pretty cool. Where I live we quite often see cloud "waterfalls" where the clouds spill over the mountains and down the other side. The clouds build up on the other side of the range and you start to see a lip along the ridges a bit like the head on beer. All of sudden it reaches a certain point where it starts to spill over and flow down the other side.
Sounds great, Jo. A photo of that would be nice someday.
