Title: Terragen Deep
Post by: rcallicotte on February 25, 2012, 08:04:12 PM
TG2 Deep includes animation, correct?  I just checked my version to start an animation and do not see the keys for it.  I know I own the animation version and contacted John M. just now.  Any suggestions?

It depends on which license key you have. You either bought "Terragen 2" or "Terragen 2 with Animation". Both use the same software installer (Terragen 2 Deep Edition) but the animation features are either enabled or disabled depending on what license key it uses. If you bought one of the Xfrog bundles, you should have Terragen 2 with Animation.

One way you can quickly tell whether you have the animation key is to go to the Project menu and look for "Bake Animation Curves..."  It's not a feature you'll probably use, but it's only available if you have an animation license.

John has left Planetside, so make sure you use the support@ address. If you did buy Terragen 2 with Animation but have the wrong key, we'll issue you with a new one.

Thanks Matt.  Here are two images from my TG2.  One is after I selected the Bake Animation Curve and the other is showing no animation keys.

I did purchase Deep + Animation, but haven't been doing any animation with TG2 for awhile.

Sorry to bother you, Matt...and sorry to bother support.
