It seems I just bought 301 less than two years ago. These guys seem to do a major release every few months.

I looked at the gallery of user work and was really impressed. But the cost is to high for me, I couldn't locate a version I could afford. To bad for me, because it looks like a great program.

@Pablo - It's about every 12 months to 18 months.

I am a grad in limbo between a BFA and a MFA. Not currently enrolled or with much desire to go back. I like that houdini offers a noncommercial version to anyone for 99 bucks, makes me think that the people who run the company live on planet earth.
