Thanks Frank, had to try out Walli's Dandelions. It is a great model to work with. I plan on putting the .tgd up on file sharing after I disable the vegetation.
Nice one, very refreshing. The dry winter has been troubling... :(

Thanks; and, just mentioning no rain, we got some today - not very much though.
Very nice, Bob. I really like your desert scenes, also because it's raining too much where I live ;)
There's a few dandelions growing out of rock. You might want to kill them in post? Or inversely blend your distribution by (a copy of) your rocks.
I think it would even be nicer if your loose rocks had a smoother surface, if that is reality of course. You would have some different textures then and it would be more exciting.
choronr,
I like this one a lot too, it looks rather real. I like how the bolder looks dirty, and how clear the air is.

Thank you Ulco, we just got a wee bit of rain - could have used a lot more. Our temperature went from 82 degrees down to 50 yesterday. With our dry air, feels like you're in the Arctic.
Because of the POV, it appears that the Dandelions are growing out of the rocks; however, there are spaces between those three rocks where the seeds lodged and the plants grew (now hows that for imagination?).
My first thoughts were that those loose rocks are break-offs from the large rock thus having sharp edges (I sometimes make my own excuses thus avoiding more work). If the large rock is sedimentary layered, it makes sense that such chunks would fall off as a result of the freezing/thawing process.

Thank you Badger, I put the file (minus the plants) up on File sharing if you're interested.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed.
Some really nice arrangements you got going on for this view, Bob. Sorry about the lack of rain. We're about to get slammed here in north Texas for the next few days...

Thanks Rich, just working on another in a sandy area ...looking somewhat like White Sands, NM.
Hey, when are you and Anne coming out this way again? Maybe next time we can do Sedona.
Way to go Bob.
Marc
Thanks Marc.
Nice rocks and lighting !
