Long story short: I get home for spring break and it snows for the next six days. Yuck. I want sun, not snow! But since the weather isn't cooperating I figured I should just make myself some sun instead. So here it is: my tropical gift to myself in the hope that I can go outside soon haha.

a great tropical feeling vista...I can hear the surf and feel the breeze...I want to explore the island now!

:)
Man, I hear birds singing and a warm breeze wafting through the open window.
No, wait. It's real (I'm in North Carolina..... ;D)
Seriously, it's well done. Not overstated, just right.

You can surf in Scotland. You just need a board ... and a steamer and a hood and booties and probably gloves :-).

Jo

Can does not mean I want to though ... ;D
F... ing freezing ...
But since you insisted on taking this seriously :D, I actually have Nikon D90 (hence not 3d generated) pictures of people surfing in Kintyre... I am also aware that in summer there could be weather that wouldn't be f..g freezing..
Should I want to resurrect the sports of my younger days I would probably choose windsurfing, over surfing.. :)
School got busy so I wasn't able to finish this up as quick as I liked, but here is the final version. I wish I had enough money for a trip to Hawaii right now ;D

Sweet. Two little crits: The image seems to be cut off at the bottom and there should be more reflection of the sky in the water towards the horizon. Otherwise perfect.
Thanks :) I'm working on getting the water to be more reflective while maintaining the color near the shore. Also, I think it looks cut off due to the gap in the trees on the left, a higher tress density to should fix that right up.
Seems the beaches of my region (Brazilian NE)!! Very well done!!!
