Title: The Large and the Small
Post by: RichTwo on March 23, 2012, 01:21:54 PM
This is more of an exercise in TG2's displacement power rather than an artistic attempt.  Along with the rather large mountainous forms, look closely at the foreground to see the roughness of the surface.  This time I did constrain the large cracks to a lesser degree of slope.  Thanks for any suggestions!

The colors are really nifty and the tiny details give the impression of loose dirt. What would be nice is to see some lighter color sediment run off of the slopes with some other loose rocks here and there. Other then that you have something good going on here. Of course some shrubbery would be a nice addition.

Agree with CC. The detail and light position here is super Rich. Really would like to see this evolve some more.
