Full size attachments seem to work here for me now.

Hi, Ro-nin. The terrain is a .ter that has to be used to enter into the Terrain Challenge at Terranuts. The main 'steps' are present in the base file but I added further strata by using X/Z stretching to the surfacing for some displacement and colouring. The talus and scree is just controlled by slope, there's very little to the image actually.

Here's the network view. The base colours node is noise-stretched by 100 on the X and Z and also adds a little extra displacement. The scree nodes are inside the null shader, they are just 4 fake stones with a stack of 4 fractals to texture them. The clouds are a variation of the new Voronoi files I shared last night. Simple as hell.

Nice surfacing !

Well, it is a pretty bare project file. One fractal to blend the base colours node and a surface layer with 4 fake stones as a child. The clouds were just imported and reseeded. It doesn't get much more simple, Kadri.

The lighting makes the image, long soft shadows from a very strong setting Sun. :)

Like the image a lot too. Can you believe I lived in Arizona for four years and never had the time to go to the places where things like in your image are! What a regret.

Thanks, guys.

Badger, 4 years and not one trip into the wilderness? Shame on you. ;)
