Title: Earth view (now plus little animation)
Post by: Hannes on April 15, 2012, 04:09:17 AM
Inspired by the beautiful movie shown in this thread
http://www.planetside.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=14311.0
I made this one.
The starfield and of course the lens flare are postwork. For other nitpickers than myself ;): I know you wouldn't see any stars at all if this was a photograph...

Very nice, I like the red sky.
I'm sure you'd still see stars at this near orbit, check out this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip2ZGND1I9Q&feature=related

Sorry, thanks for the correction! :)

I think it would be nicer with stars, anyway. Even if it isn't natural. Nice animation, Hannes.

Its really good Hannes, nice one again.

Have you tried compositing the nebula behind the earth like planet? Could be interesting
