Having great difficulty creating the type of atmosphere needed for a mars type planet.

I'm working on a low orbit shot and would like the terrain visible from orbit but every attempt I have made the atmosphere seems too thick, any help appreciated.

Yeah thanks Badger but for some unknown reason I still can't get it the way I want it, I was hoping for some pointers to the atmosphere settings I need.

Here is the one I meant to remind you about but could not find earlier. It is a thread started by Franco-Jo, and was added to by Matt. It is all about mars and includes a bunch of tgd(s) by them. Your answer should be here if you like the images:
