Post by: Markal on May 22, 2012, 04:57:13 PM
From the Lord of the Rings...hmmm...maybe a series???  I don't know, sometimes series work well and other times.....well, you know...

The way is shut.
It was made by those who are Dead, and the Dead keep it.

Very impressive Mark, this one is loaded with nice details and with wow atmosphere and light. Maybe darker fake stones and higher variability of sizes?

Thanks Bob, you're right the stones are a bit bright and need some more variation. Thanks for the input!!! Keep on man!

Oo, I really like this one. The atmosphere and mood is great, particularly in the background with the strong blue light in the shadows.

I agree. Very good work on the 'mood'.

I like the towers very much!!!!

Would be nice to see some softening of the layers though (more erosion?) how did you make the terrain on this one?

Fantastic mood and composition (reminds me (although infinitely better) of a map from the old Doom-esque first-person-shooter 'Heretic')
