This is a quickie rather, done to see if and how TG2 deals with large .obj files
and some other things.
The .obj file size is 1.4 gb.Took about 3 minutes to load, but rendered fine.
At this image size with default render quality it needed ca. 2.8 gb of ram.
64-bit version.
ahhh!!!!! :D :o
giant head, kinda creepy, makes me wonder if hes got a body buried beneath the sand.
i recall someone was trying to load large gigabyte sized objects made in what might have been xenodream...
it worked for him. :)
This looks nice j meyer!
That object looks familiar. A comic book character ?
Who is he? I am sure i know him but can't remember.
fun
Thanks! ;D
Kadri - That must be coincidental,I just sculpted it with no reference at all.
Wanted it to be some kind of generic idol or so.
Hmm! Interesting and very nice sculpting by the way!
Now this will occupy a place in my mind until i find the alike :)
In case you find it,please show me.
Now i know that they reminded me about Enki Bilal's drawings .Like these:

But i saw Prometheus today and there was some parts that surprised me.
I do not think that it is a spoiler because the picture below is in the beginning of Prometheus ,
but if you want to be kinda spoiler free (they spoiled it too much themselves) do not look at it:

:)
Search for images about China MiƩville , j meyer.
As i looked at images about Prometheus this guy came up too.
Cheers!
When i read comic book character in your first reply i thought must be a french
comic and now: Bilal. 8) I've seen the Immortal movie some time ago,but i've
never read a comic of his,as far as i can remember.
I think so called primitive art and comics have something in common in that both
make use of some kind of simplification/stylization often.
Thanks for putting together the links.
Yes you are right :)
Did you looked at the Prometheus link?
Just curious :D
Yep,took a look.Had not seen that one either,although I looked for some
Prometheus stuff before.
