I'm only a novice and this is nothing special. But I like it :)

The water and birds and background rendered very nicely. Good job! But that moon is really unnatural looking *to my eye*. I know its hard to light a night shot. But it would probably look like a photo if not for that moon.

Maybe you can figure out a way rig light to keep the details on the birds and water, but put in a more realistic moon/glow? Sorry, I don't have a solution with the crit.

Especially the birds  and water reflection part looks great. Nice  :)

I like this...the birds look great in the foreground, and I dont mind the moon so much...the stars look great too!

I agree the moon glow is not right. I had no idea how to light it so I simply put the sun behind the moon and turned it down a lot so it was the right magnitude :)

so what I'm thinking is....change the sunlight coloring from the present yellowish cast to something closer to white. Then, under the lighting tab dial back the strength of /sunlight to something less than the 3.5 preset.  That should darken the entire picture to a more normal-looking full moon. Perhaps increase the reflectivity of the ship's sails (maybe even the ship) so that the outlines reflect the moonlight somewhat.
