Title: Microsoft unveils "Surface", it's own range of Tablet PC's
Post by: cyphyr on June 19, 2012, 04:46:04 AM
According to the hype Surface will be able to run Photoshop

Microsoft Surface (http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en/us/default.aspx)
BBC Article (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-18500954)
Seattle Times article (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/technologybrierdudleysblog/2018467881_post_50.html)

I was able to get Terragen to run quite well on an un-branded Chinese Tablet running Windows 7 (um, till said tablet met an early demise on contact with the floor!)

What do you think?

Cheers

Richard

Some nice improvements to what the ipad offers. I would buy an I pad if I could use a stylus and photoshop full. Then again, the new lap tops would be much better. I'm still not sure of the value of these touch pads in my life. Mostly they really only seem good for fun.
