Beautiful. Is this C4D and Vray as well?

Gorgeous!

Is the boy a billboard again?!

no, this time 3D. I started modeling him for a different WIP, that I still have to finish. For this scene I created a simple rig, brought him into position and then added some details.

Thanks walli. I have to say that not being able to immediately tell the diference is a good argument for using billboards when appropriate. Still haven't found a good thread on how to make and use them though.

I zoomed in on the boy in your image. It looks like he has a broken arm! Poor kid! And where are his parents? Leting him climb a cliff with a broken arm. So sad:( They should just buy him a new kite!

  :P

Still want to see a short film by you! 5 min is a lot (too much) of work. But I bet it would look great!

really tough kids never let their kite go, even if they have to climb with broken arms or legs ;-)

The arm is fine, but after "releasing" the picture I was told that from several sides - and after hearing it I could see it too ;-) It´s a combination of pose, shadow and to stiff shirt which gives this sad impression.
