Title: Exo planets
Post by: Simius Strabus on June 28, 2012, 02:52:32 PM
By now, planets are being discovered every week. And so, like many others, I started out to imagine what they might look like, combined with lots of fantasy, of course.

This banding thing pops up every now and then. Not sure how/why this happens.

I was toying around with GIMP when I stumbled upon the solution. In some images I use 'color -> levels' to set the color levels to make the images look less hazy. And thats the whole problem.
Now I adjust the contrast/brightness and color-curves and that's working for me.
