Title: Expand or contract a painted shader mask
Post by: Kevin Kipper on July 25, 2012, 06:15:46 PM
Hi everyone.  Is there a way to expand (or contract) the area defined by a painted shader by means of a function?  I am trying to avoid copy and pasting the existing painted shader node and then reworking it.  Basically, I want to grow or contract the area that's been defined.  Thanks!

Hi,

I'm afraid there isn't a way to do this at the moment. It's certainly something that I would like to be possible though.

Regards,

Jo

I've also noticed that the transform node has no effect on the painter shader, It would be useful if it did.
