C&C please.
a quick C&C: the moon has too much contrast and is too dark. Brighten it up until you can just see the pattern IMO. And the translucency of the trees' leaves might be too high.
I'd agree with Dune. Because the moon is the lightsource, it shouldn't really have dark patches on it. Any difference between light and dark should be minimal.
Changes made..............
Almost. Part of the problem is the atmosphere glow. It shouldn't be brighter than the source of the light creating the glow (ie the moon in this case)
One more time..............
Yeah, that's much better!
Agree
Definitely better ratios around the moon.
Opinion will be divided on this, but if you do a long exposure at night, the sky is still blue, it's just that our eyes don't pick up colour so well at low light levels. The sky is, after all, still lit by sunlight. It's just that the sunlight is reflected off the moon and there's a lot less of it. Having a neutral sky and seeing colour in the terrain/objects looks a bit wrong. A little bit of blue in the sky will still look like a night scene
Methinks this is finished. Added some faint blue to the atmosphere and some clouds.
Great! I like the clouds very much (Voronoi?).
Actually perlin ridges. ;D
Nice seed then!
