Title: Visual Artifacts and Distorted Render with Wide FOV
Post by: PeanutMocha on September 18, 2012, 07:05:54 PM
I'm trying to render a scene with a 110 degree horizontal field of view.  This results in visual artifacts and distortions.

I started with a new, default project and made the following modifications

- Use horizontal fov 110 degrees
- Film aperture in mm 36 36 (also tried default of 36 24 with similar results)
- Image width 800
- Image height 800

[attachimg=1]

My goal is to take a shot in each cardinal direction, with overlap, and stitch the photos together to a panorama.

How can I avoid the image problems?

The project file is attached.

It is the motion blur.
Because you have an animation (basically) TG2 is using the motion blur setting in the camera.
Make it zero PeanutMocha (If you do not have a use for it).

Perfect!  That did it.  I guess turning 90 degrees per shot, I could expect a significant blur :-)
