It is a painted shader with a negative displacement shader added.

^^hmmm.

I lost my nerve with the painted shader after my mazeworld project. Maybe I should get back on my horse and try it again. I do like this effect a lot.

Impressive cut through the terrain. Maybe try a yellow for the flowers instead of white ...just a matter of taste.

Great realism. So good in fact that the racoon was a bit of a distraction.

This is a very good start, Yossam. I think you can work more on the sandy verticals (sand, little clumps of soil, maybe some vertical cracks, some more local waterplants), and some more bush around the trees. But I think the raccoons are way too small (enlarge by 300%?). If you raise the patchiness of the water (very small patches) or add some warped PF as little wavelets, you may achieve some whirling turbulence, which might be nice.

Wow, I like this a lot! I agree with the bushes and the verticals (even if I don't know how to do it).
I think leaving out the racoons would even emphasise or enhance the tranquility of the scene...?

Really nice. I think the raccoons might be another 150% larger, and the 'rocks' in the creek need some work; maybe overgrow them by grass and some shrub, as if they are the last to stand? Or make them big smooth stones, as if the creek has washed them free?
And maybe some color variation across the grasses, perhaps a bit more reflectiveness. But I do like the sparseness of the clumps.

Looks good. Real good. Only thing I'm wondering about is the trees. I'm thinking the bark should be rougher?? But overall this is a great image.
