Use Fraps or whatever, you could get interesting footage maybe for little but needed Sci-Fi display contents, or just for some projections somewhere (maybe during partys with modern sounds f.ex.).
With softwares like AFX, you would break your neck, trying to achieve something like that as non, and as a professional. :D
