I began creating the farmhouse in the latest version of Blender, but Blender was so buggy that I had to revert back to a previous version. This is the first of two images. All elements remain the same in the 2nd image, but the lighting is vastly different.
Plants are a combination of xFrog (original and modified), my own creations and one of Walli's grasses.
As always, comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated.

OK, here we go; I'd put more (different) grasses in, make a (overgrown) pathway from the stairs off somewhere, replace the tree bark (repetitive), or the whole tree. Maybe flatten the area in front of the house to a more 'domestic living area', if you get my point. Some old fences maybe, an overgrown vegetable garden or terrace....
And add some dirt (vertically stretched PF) to the rain pipe.
The scale of the house seems a little off. Maybe a little too small?
Looked at feedback and made some changes. Still considering some of the previous suggestions (eg I like the idea of a vegetable garden but not really enough room for that. BTW the 'scruffy yard' is deliberate.
Feedback @ CC's welcome
Great improvement.
I like what you have here. I would attempt to blend the house into the background which you've done a super job on. Maybe add some fall color flowers in a few clumps scattered over the foreground.
