Title: Cascade.
Post by: bla bla 2 on November 21, 2012, 03:42:47 PM

Hi, I'm trying to do two cascades between two large boulders (for later) I do with it? Clouds? Or with water?
I'm with the water and I can not add white to the vertical. But after that, the record is super long.
Thank you for your feed, I show you the picture first, to understand.

google translate.

A cloud, blended by a simple shape (or a painted shader shape) at the bottom of the fall, would be easiest. Stretch the fractal (Y), and make it a dense cloud with small sized fractal, high quality isn't really necessary. You can cut off the top of the cloud by a distribution shader, exactly where it'll go over the rim. Bon chance!

Ok, what's weird is that it changes color when I set the height of a simple shape in Cloud depth.

I've got it working. Thanks for the info on how to make a waterfall Dune :)

@ Blabla; you have to have the cloud height at least as high as your falls, preferably a bit more, and then cut off the top. Like this...
