Title: Transparency aircraft reflet.
Post by: bla bla 2 on November 29, 2012, 01:19:36 PM
Salut, je souhaiterai voir la vitre et du reflet à l'avion de chasse, comment je peux faire, j'ai beau mettre le water shader, soit je vois l'eau dans la vitre, soit je vois pas, il n'y a pas le juste milieu. ^^

Hi, I will wish to see the glass and the reflection in the fighter, how can I do it, I'm putting the water shader, or I see the water in the glass, or I see it, there not the middle. ^ ^

In this shot, have you tried flipping the normals of the canopy for the texture to work from the inside?

And... you can use a water shader + a reflection shader RT on) only. No need for the default shader. If the part is not only glass, but metal as well you need to mask the glass by using an image map shader (white is glass, black is no glass) to blend a no color surface layer with the water+reflective shader as children.  Make sure the waves are set to zero or your glass will be broken.

Je vous passe le fichier comme l'objet est gratuit. Si, vous arrivez mieux que moi.  :-\

I'll pass the file as an object is free. If you get better than me.

I think this would be the easiest way, just set opacity of glass and pilot to zero. I can't get the flakes out either when the glass is viewed from the inside, not even by flipping normals. That could maybe be done in Poseray. If you attempt that, you might as well turn the aircraft 90 degrees. Good luck.

I set the Index of Refraction to 1.01 for glass. If you don't...try that
