I am doing a shot where the camera is far away and you can see the whole planet. The only issue I am having is that I can't see the sun. When I am on the ground I can of course position the sun
where it appears in frame, but when I pull far away from a planet I can't see the sun in space (and I've spent some time placing it where I'm sure it should show up. Any ideas?

Disable the sun disc effect and use this (http://www.planetside.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=10822.msg111240#msg111240). Adjust the height to whatever you need.
