Two earth-like worlds were recently discovered orbiting Tau Ceti. Both are in the star's Goldilocks zone. We are here standing on Tau Ceti e, the one nearest the star. Tau Ceti is surrounded by rich field of dust, asteroids and comets, so the planet's night sky may be spectacular. Because Tau Ceti e is so close to its parent star, the "dark side" of the imaginary moon I gave it is brightly lit by sunlight reflected from the planet.

Awesome renders blackcat! Are the comets done in terragen?
Oh, and by the way, your Pluto-stamp is only about 7AU away from meeting with Pluto :D

That seems very well. Do you have a link to see the images in large size?

Thanks for all the nice words!

Yes! The stamp has only 7AU's to go! Nearly there!  :)

I usually don't post full-size images online, but I could make a couple of these available only to Forum members.

Oh...and the comets were done in Photoshop. In fact, all my TG astronomicals contain a great deal of post-rendering work. There wasn't too much in this particular illustration, however. The comets, the large moon, the clouds in front of it and its reflection in the water. I also touched up some of the snow on top of the rocks on the right.
