Title: Choosing Heightfield interpolation method "Stepped" causes immediate crash
Post by: fleetwood on January 07, 2013, 05:50:30 PM
I open the Terragen 2.5.4.0 in Windows 7 to the standard default scene.

I click generate on the default Height Field Generate.

In the Heightfield shader node on the  Displacement Tab I change the interpolation method from Catmul-Rom to "Stepped" in the dropdown menu.

Making this choice causes my Terragen session  to crash in seconds.

All of the other interpolation methods seem to function and cause the 3d view to refresh as expected.

Hi Fleetwood,

I can confirm that and will file a bug for it. Thanks a lot for reporting it.

Regards,

Jo

Works for me, no crash.

New scene>Heightfield generate>Generate Now>Heightfield shader>Displacement Tab>Change to Stepped ...

No crash

Using 2.5.4.0
