Wow, a really nice impression of the Himalayas or the high Tibetan plateau in the first one (to my inexperienced eye, hehe).

Yes otakar it's 2 generate fractal terrain with Terragen 2. The back ground it's a alpine fractal modified plus a distance shader.

The second image is supurb. Colours are spot on what you would see in the Himalayas between 4000 - 5000m.
