C&C please................
I like the layout. Remember, nuclear power is good!! ;D
Did you create the power towers yourself.
It also seems a bit dark, but don't know if that's your image or my monitor.
its very cool Yossam. but you should find or come up with some trick to get light in those blacks. Maybe lightning, but where the lightning is out of frame, but the light from it is hitting some surfaces in the foreground. Or maybe a road with emergency vehicles rushing to or from the power plant.
If you do the last idea, than you could partner up with someone who has done a nuclear explosion animation. That clould be a good little cut :o
Still not happy with this................
Love it!
I guess the power is OFF at the moment. Good image but very dark.
If you were taking this shot with a camera you would bring up the exposure to compensate for the darkness. Try setting the exposure to 1..5 or 2and darkening the clouds to stopthem becoming too blown out.
cheers
Richard
I've got a new monitor...................still fiddling with settings. It looks fine when I render, but when I take it in PS it is all blown out. I think maybe I am over compensating. :o
The second is better, but is still very dark on my computer.
The last one is a big step forward Yossam. Use the cars to produce the needed light. Head lights, emergency lights. People running with flash lights?
If the light from the cars is not hitting the right places for you, then maybe move the road so that is does?
I like that the power is out, that immediately indicates a serious problem! But if you still need more light you can add street lights on the road, but have the light from them be fluctuating, some on some off. And among the ones that are on, vary the brightness, some bright some dull. It would still indicate the nature of the emergency, but more subtly.
Maybe to subtly? because I do like the power being off, it creates a lot of tension and opportunities for extreme contrast.
You can also base your composition entirely on the dark silhouette, and the bright head beams. Could be very dynamic?
No, keep it as it is. It's great. I like the special mood in there, just a glimpse of sun over the mountains, showing that there is hope (from above ;)), but all other power supplies have run down. Terrific!
Glad you understood what I was going for Dune. 8)
