By the way, the viewing of the images in this forum has pretty much collapsed now in my Browser. Currently I'm using Firefox on Linux but I remember this happening with Firefox on OSX. I'lll try later on OSX with Safari but image viewing in this forum totally fails now. Images don't open and have to be manually downloaded.

Very, very nice images! They do convey a sense of crisp freshness I do associate with being high in the mountains.
One little thing that I don't like is the darker pine on the left: There's something odd going on with the needles and the bark is plain gray, no bump at all.
