Just a revisited an old scene
Love the feel of this. Great image
beautiful light and mood... my only slight criticism is maybe the wave size is too big?
only nitpicking really though...
cheers
Jason:)
I'm blinded!
Good composition.
Great looking scene, I really like this. Especially the fog(mist). I would really like to see the settings for that. It looks very realistic.
As was mentioned, the wave scale needs to be a little smaller for this to look fantastic.

Nice render!
Thanks guys. Yeah you are correct the wave size is too big, I'm currently building a moonlight version of this so I will fix it..
Yossam: It's essentially pretty much done with altitude offset function. I baked the terrain into an image file and used that to offset things so they flow accordingly. Then just use low sharpness to get the soft mist
One crit I might have is the uniformity of the trees. Maybe slant them a little, or throw in an occasional other species or dead tree...
I really like the light in this one. Has that art photo look.
Here's the first test shot. I wanted to add a little dead tree and a crow but I dont have any extra time to model anything so they will have to wait..This is not yet what I want but heading to the right direction I guess. Some quick 10 minute postwork
Also thought to mention that there are quite a few other tree models here but none populated near the camera.. Guess will have to reseed.
May I be the first to say WOW!!!!!
Thanks. I just realised I forgot to enable "receive shadows from surfaces" so no rays from them. Will see if I do a re-render to see the difference.
incredible. amazing :)
the lighting in the night scene render is fantastic, magical too.

Exactly.
Agree with mhaze: wow.
The clouds behind/above the peak looks like the biggest surf/splash I've ever seen. Great effect.
Cheers
Thanks..
Here's another version. It's still WIP.. Couple problem with the clouds and trees. Also horizon shift on the lake seems to need some adjusting.. Also have an idea how to make it more interesting..will see when I have the time to continue on this
This one looks colder. Less haze?
My favourite so far is the second image but this one is good.
Cheers
Another version from different POV and more extensive postwork.
I like those !
The city is a nice touch Freelancah.
Very dramatic !!! The two last one are beautifull !!! :)
Thanks guys. 1 more and I'l stop, promise, maybe ;)
I like where this has gone! More please!
Haha, okay. One more :P Not as good as the others but still kinda like it
Just so much candy in this thread! :o Really jealous of the work here freelancah
Great work. The thumbnail just doesn't prepare you for thge full size pic. S'amazing what you can do with the same basic image. Love it.
