Title: Sliding/falling rocks
Post by: kafreyer on February 02, 2013, 01:18:38 AM
How would I animate either the rock object population or the fake rock shader to slide down a slope? I tried animating slope constraints in the distribution shader but to no avail.  Thanks!

I can't hep directly, but these threads  contain related info and files.

There is also one where someone did the same as Hannes, but also got the trees to animate and fall.
Also, I believe that the file Hannes used was posted in file sharing as an earlier version. Not sure, you'll have to look.
Should be a start for you. At least you will learn how to use clouds as debris a dust to follow with your rock slide.

One thing that may work for the rocks them selves is to export your terrain to maya or max (or whatever you like) and build the rocks and rock slide there. Then import the animation of the slide back into TG2 as a ".obj sequence".

Others should be able to give you better details than me.
