Still playing with lighting but otherwise, pretty much, done. Your comments welcome before I move on to the contest!
Loose the sheep, especially the one that's just about to make a leap of faith (top left)! I don't think the scene needs them and they can be so hard to get right/realistic.
I remember on my walks with my parents in the mountains in Scotland sometimes you really could not tell if the white splodges on the opposite hillside were rocks or sheep!
Otherwise I think you've nailed it, the stream is perfect and I recognise the high contrast lighting, brightly lit foreground against dark skies.
Good work!
Richard
Cheers Richard, I must admit I like the sheep but I understand your comment. They bring back memories of trying to rescue the silly buggers who had got themselves stuck!
Nice image!
I couldn't see two of the sheep (the ones at the lower part) at first.I think that is a good thing.
But i am not sure about that upper left one too .
Can't say whether to keep or loose the sheep, but if kept perhaps make them a bit whiter? They sort of blend in with the scenery.
I would keep the sheep a bit subtle, blended away in the greens like masonspappy says, so that you find them only after looking very hard. The suicidal one a the top left is a bit too much, I'd say :-\ But they're nice sheep. Where did you get them?
Thanks all for the comments - Dune the sheep are from Daz there is also a lamb. I have the feeling that the jumper just looks too large( contrast against dark background). Unfortunately I did not save the pic after the final change to the background and attempts to recover it have failed >:( So I'm afraid I shall have too leave it as I've other things to get done. I'll have another go in a few days.
Like this one alot
Sans jumper
avec jumper ???
