Title: Icy mountains. Brrrrr....
Post by: Alexn007 on March 15, 2013, 12:28:14 PM
Still learning how to use Terragen...  This is my second attempt at a Terragen render.  I was going for a snow-scape that has begun to melt and freeze over.  Also Does anyone know how or if Terragen supports Sub-surface scatter?  I couldn't figure it out.

Thanks for any help or advice,
-Alex

I think this is rather good for a second render and your ice does look like ice !!! Good work ! I think that Terragen does not support sub-surface scattering for now but there may be a way to "fake" it...and the masters such as Martin (Tangled-Universe) could enlighten you on this. There are plenty of people on the forum that will help you on this and you may wish to post the question in the discussion section. Take care !
